Easter Weekend 2007 in Newport, Rhode Island

Happy Easter Everyone!

I hope you had a great Easter Weekend. We took a pleasant trip up to Newport Rhode Island for the weekend. Cakky hitched a ride up with us on her way to visit her parents in Barnford, CT. Cakky's Mom made us some delectable pasta salad while we watched a little of the NASA Channel. I also got a chance to check out her needlepoint couch and then crawled my way around the rest of the amazing house overlooking the Long Island Sound. Dad hung out with Mr. Hogan. Mr. Hogan has quite a collection of famous baseball player autographs he collected as a kid. A few that I remember Dad telling me he saw were: Tyrus "Ty" Cobb, Joe DiMaggio, Jackie Robinson, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson, Mel Ott, Warren Spahn, Jimmie Foxx, Ted Williams, Rogers Hornsby, Honus Wagner and Satchel Paige to name a few. A few were personalized letters to him. It was a enjoyable middle point stop.

When we arrived in Newport we had dinner in town. The Cooke House served us up a nice fest. The only problem was that Dad got food poisoning from the Clam Chowder. It was a rough night for Mom. Between me crying every few hours, since I was not use to my surroundings, and Dad dealing with his food poisoning, she was pretty worn down. But, she held strong the next day by taking me to all the great shops that line Thames Street. She even picked up a few goodies for Dad and me. After Mom brought home some fresh chicken soup and fruit, Dad began to fight off the fever he had for the last 24 hours. We finished the evening by going to the park and checking out the playgrounds swing and slide. Boy it was fun playing while the ocean breeze hit our faces. It got a little cold after a while, so we headed back to Harbour Court to finish off the day.

On Easter we had a nice breakfast with Granddad John and Debs. They are alway such fun to hang out with. After the meal I started to get a little tired and we headed back home to relax to finish off the Easter Weekend.

Enjoy the next coming weeks. Hope to update you again soon.

Peace Out...Massimo McRae

Visit to Playground in Central Park

>Visit to 96th Street Playground with Dad

Dad and I took a walk to the 96th Street playground in Central Park this weekend. Dad pushed me back and forth on the swing and then I enjoyed going down the slippery slide. The weather was wonderful so we meandered around inside the park following the playground fiesta. I also went with Mom and Dad to pick up my first pair of blue leather Naturino shoes.

We also had a great lunch with MuMu and Rick at Serafina on 79th St. It was a very frantic table. I enjoyed eating my spaghetti and Cheerios at the table. MuMu let me investigate the bucket of ice chilling a bottle of rose. I got so excited from the texture and feel of the ice that I accidentally grabbed the bucket and dumped the ice water on MuMu's lap. She played it off splendidly as we continued with our gastronomic delight.

Earlier in the week, Mumu, Mama, and Megan taught me to put a ball in a box and also how to knock down a tower of blocks. Oh so much fun!

I hope everyone had a great weekend like we did. We are headed up to Newport, RI for Easter weekend. I am excited to stay a few nights at Harbor Court and cruise around town. I wish everyone a pleasant week and a Happy Holiday.

Nicky's Photograph session with the Big Mac

It's Massimo McRae and I am ready for some summer fun. Aunt Nicky took some great pictures of me while we all visited Grandpa John & Debs. I thought the Ralph Lauren designed chairs in the bayside pool clubhouse really brought out my big sweet smile.

I am slowly getting comfortable walking on my own but have no problem crawling everywhere. My favorite place to crawl is over to Lulu's doggie bowls and splash my hands in the water and inspect her doggie food. I love to clap and drop Cheerios one by one in my mouth and feel them melt away.

My personality is starting to really show. I am very stubborn and get very upset when my Dad does not let me have a bite of his sugar donut or when it takes too long to dress me. I am a rough and tumble type of guy. When I fall I don't cry at all, just get mad and let everyone know. Playing in the sand box and the swing are my favorites while in the park. Hopefully I should be able to get some new pics taken in NYC since the weather is finally acting like spring time. Enjoy and see you soon. Big hugs and kisses to all!!! Massimo

A walk in our Apartment in NYC

Watching a little Noggin at Vaughan's Apartment
Vaughan and I just chilling out
Vaughan and I practicing are stare to pick up the chicks

Dad wanted to take a little video of me walking between Mom and him. Below you will see a link to YouTube of me showing off my skills.

We had a nice weekend taking a drive up to Larchmont to see cousin Vaughan and his Mom and Dad as well as Jennifer's parents. We had a splendid time. I got to watch Dad put on shoes made of Ziplock bags to walk outside on the Uncle Bill and Aunt Jennifer's terrace to pick up a gift left by Lulu. The snow made for a very messy weekend on the streets and roads, but me made the best of it.

Hope you like the clip:

More fun at the pool and dinner at Brazilian Restuarant in NYC

Mom, Dad and I have had a few wonderful dinners at a local Brazilian restuarant a few blocks from our house. Mom and Dad truly enjoy the food and the wait staff are wonderful with me....they love carrying me to the bar and let me check out the active kitchen. They even wipe up meals from fresh cut fruits that I just love. I am sure we will be going again soon.

Mom and Dad have been taking me to swim lessons over at Ashpalt Green (a large sports complex by the East River) so I will be ready to start swimming at a young age. Maybe one day I can swim for my college team or even represent my country in the olympics. I am very excited for the weather to warm up in NYC so we can spend more time in the park and maybe even go to the beach.

Until next time all!

Visit to Loblolly

It has been a while since the last posting. I will have other pictures to add shortly from New York City, but was able to add pictures from Loblolly. We are all having a nice time visiting Granddad John and Debbie. We have been going to the pines pool, bay pool, riding the golf cart and spending time in the house. Aunt Nicky flew down also and is spending time with everyone as well. We are planning to have a BBQ tonight and fatten ourselves up. I just love the water and will probably head over to the ocean before I leave to check out the waves and feel the soft sand on my feet. I hope everyone is doing well and wish everyone the best. Hope to send out another update soon.

Big Hugs to everyone

My Baptism at Brick Church

On Sunday January 14th 2007 I had my baptism at Brick Church on the corner of Park Ave. & 91st Street. It is right down the street from our apartment. It was a very beautiful event. I was all dressed up in my cream colored cashmere outfit with a pair of very comfortable cream socks. Rev. Michael L. Lindvall was the pastor that baptised me and also carried me around the church to introduce me to the other members of the parish. I was a great time. After we all went back to the apartment had a nice little party with wonderful food from Yura and champagne & wine to wash the tasty treats down.

Well, talk to everyone again soon.

It was a beautiful 70 degrees in New York City today. Felt like Spring in January. We had a great time walking in Central Park, played at the playground , and walked up and down Madison Avenue. What a wonderful day it was. We started off the day going to Asphalt Green for swim class then swung by the vinigar factory afterward for breakfast. Happy New Year eveyone and look forward to future updates.

After watching the Christmas pageant at Brick Church on Park Ave. by our house we went around the corner and had a magnificent dinner at Vico (Authentic Italian food and everyone loves me there). We then opened all the wonderful gifts. I had so many gifts and they were all great. I spent all of Christmas day playing with all my new gifts. Thanks so much everyone.
