4th of July Birthday at Bayley Beach, Rowatyon

Happy 4th of July to this country and of course Me! What is very interesting, One of the most enduring myths about Independence Day is that Congress signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th 1776. The myth had become so firmly established that, decades after the event and nearing the end of their lives, even the elderly Thomas Jefferson and John Adams had come to believe that they and the other delegates had signed the Declaration on the fourth. Most delegates actually signed the Declaration on August 2nd, 1776.

We had a great time celebrating this country's independence and my big 2nd birthday. We celebrated on Bayley Beach in Rowayaton, CT , just a few blocks from our house.

Some of our special guests where the Case and Weiss families. I had a great time playing with Samuel and Theron as well as all the other kids there to celebrate. Special thanks and love goes out to Mumu and Momma for setting up the event and for grill master Dadda.

Peace out all!

Mac Daddy

Me and Samuel having our can and eating it too! Just a little icing around the all over ourselves isn't going to kill everyone, especially Momma and her Margaritas in a bag.

A little dancing on the beach

Is there anything on our faces? Maybe a little fourth of July celebration?

I am not sure who these people that crashed our party? I think maybe the local homeless people looking for a little grub to hold them over until the next holiday

Momma just starting to get here celebratory grove on. I think by the end of the night her grove met up with the piper.

Momma Megan caring a future Marine Recon member. Theron, what a toughy! And ther I am with Mumu thinking about my dozen balloon that flew off into the Long Island Sound that I will never see again. Oh, I hope that don't drowned.

A little band action while some big paw scraps icing off the b-day cake. Forensics came to take fingerprint of the culprit

The festive table and a little football action. I think Dad's butt was getting in the way of me receiving the football during the snap

Check out Momma, "The Hot Patootie Pants" commonly referred to by my Dadda aka. "Al Bundy"

I think Hunter and I started to get a liitle hung over from eating every inch of the Red, White, and Blue icing off the cake. It is abvious from our facial discoloration and our stupor.

Spending Time with Mom and Dad

Mom and having fun taking pictures on a beautiful morning in Rowayton.

Check out Mom's big smile! I do I smile like that? I just love my Mom.

Mom and I just love spending time by the water.

Arrrr....I can't remember if it was 50 pirate steps to the treasure Momma! I just know up to 14 so far.

I hate those damn pauperizes taking my picture when I am going to get groceries. Maybe I should wear my hat and glasses to be incognito.

Hey, did I say you can take a picture of me while I am eating my blue crab cook?

Check back with me soon....MMC

Summer 2008 Rowayton Connecticut

Welcome back everyone to my blog. I have been absent during the winter months like a bear in hibernation. Spring and Summer 2008 have been fantastic. We have been very busy. We have gone to many parties as well as a trip to Nantucket. It has been a real hoot.

The other week I had my first twin prop trip going out to Nantucket and I had so much fun. I love planes and also flying in them. I had a great time spending time with John and Willie. We spent time playing on the swing set in the backyard, hanging in town and chilling on the beach. It was so much fun and wish I was able to spend more time with my city buds, John and Willie.

As you can see during our trip to Nantucket I spent some time learning to surf and then kite surf with the big boys. I have some work ahead of me before I am ready to be a professional, but soon.

Today I had fun playing at Quinn and Ellies's B-Day party on Bell Island. There was a few disaggreements with the cougars I met at the party, but in the end we all were able to play cool.

I am also having fun in my new tent. I enjoy dragging in a few toys at a time into my tent and just chill out having fun inside.

Mom & I strolling on the beach in Nantucket. The weather and water was beautiful. You can see the sailboat and Kite surfers in the back ground.

Time for us to go to the pool. I was sound asleep, but I heard before Johnny boy could go without his Momma, he had to have about 4 different types of floatation devices placed on him, just in case a typoon hit the pool. It worked out well cause I heard all the ladies dug his shortie shorts and floral patters on his shirt and floaties.

I enjoyed downing a Matt burger and blue crab cookie at Ellie & Quinnie's birthday bash on Bell Island in Rowayton. I had an awesome time. It is great to have such cool friends.

Well, I hope to update you sooner than this last gap in my blog. I can't believe I will be a 2 year old in less than a week.

LOVE McRae
